Domino’s or Papa John’s ????? Right off, I have to tell you, we always order Papa John’s.
My kids are not big fans of Domino’s, however to me pizza is pizza. I always like a little variety, so I decided to go out and compare their website’s. Both Papa John’s and Domino’s have sites to order online these days. Since the kids love the Papa John’s, we have ordered many many many times online from Papa John’s. I dont know why you would not order online, that’s where the best deals are.
First though I had to check the IPhone for an app. I have the Papa John’s app and have used it many times. Your at Wal-mart, feel like pizza, load up the Papa John’s app, and on the way home, pick up the pizza. So where is the Domino’s app. I searched the app store for Domino’s. I got apps for domino games. I also saw Domino’s Pizza Turkiye. So I scrolled down, Papa John’s ??? Thats right no USA Domino’s app? So I re-searched for Domino’s Pizza. Alot of different pizza apps, but no Domino’s. Strike ONE
Now I have never signed up for Domino’s, so off I went to find the Domino’s home page. Thats all I found too, the home page at www.dominos.com, they must want me to buy something. I can not find the sign up link anywhere. So I clicked on Menu. Once at the menu page, now I see a link to sign up. Durning my sign up I got errors. Certificate errors or something. Maybe it’s my new computer? Maybe I clicked the wrong button? I dont think so, but I went ahead and signed up anyway. At this pont, I dont like this site. After signing up I went to check my account. I can not see the address i just typed in ? I added it again. Still no address on this page? So I returned to the ording page. Here I see my address, under the My Profile, on this page. Maybe it will come to the right place? Well at this point ….. Strike TWO. I think Domino’s could improve their site.
Well no strike THREE for me. I went over to Papa John’s site and ordered me a pizza. I do have one complaint though for Papa John’s. When they updated their site awhile back, they lost my option to send me email news and deals. So I signed up again. Thanks Papa John’s for the drop down menu, I could not type in, to select my year of birth. It dropped down right off the page. Scrolling down made me feel old. YES, Im almost 40. Other than that I love this site. Got my pizza and it was here within 20 minutes. Thank You Papa John’s, I guess the kids where right !!!!!
